Drogba named Africa Footballer of 2009

The African Football Confederation has named Didier Drogba  Africa's
Footballer of the Year for the second time. Drogba who stars for Ivory
Coast and Chelsea received the 2009 award on Thursday.

He received the award ahead of his club teammate Michael Essien of
Ghana and Samuel Eto'o of Cameroon who were also shortlisted.
Drogba previously won the award in 2006.
